Ingredients
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 bunch green onions
- 4 medium/large potatoes (how much you want to fix)
- Garlic powder (or you can use garlic cloves)
- salt/pepper to taste
- Heavy cream
Directions
- Saute chopped green onions in 1/2 stick butter soup pot. Peel potatoes and place into pot. Cover with just enough water to cover potatoes. Boil until potatoes are done (adding salt, garlic & pepper to taste). DO NOT DRAIN potatoes when done. Add one stick of butter and one stick of margarine and mash. Add heavy cream until soup consistency.
