Directions

  1. Peel and core apples. Chop in small pcs. Make applesauce (about 1 c. water) adding cinnamon candies and tapioca. Cook till thick; cold.
  2. Beat egg whites. When stiff, add in sugar. Blend in popcorn and nuts. Spread in buttered pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min. Whip cream and fold into applesauce. Pour onto cooled crust. Chill.
