It sounds strange but when you cook and taste it...exceptional dish! This peanut butter gives an excellent flavor to the chicken. I love its delightful gravy!
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. MSG
- 10 peppercorns
- 1/2 kg. chicken, cut up
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 3 tbsp. peanut butter
- 1/4 c. water
Directions
- Saute garlic and onion in hot oil until light brown.
- Add tomatoes, salt, MSG and peppercorns. Stir fry until tomatoes are mushy.
- Add chicken. Season with soy sauce. Add water and simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Mix peanut butter and water. Blend well. Add to the chicken mixture, continue simmering until sauce thickens.
