Ingredients
- 1/2 kg. chicken, cut up
- 4 glasses water
- 1 chicken cube
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. MSG
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 medium potatoes, cubed
- 2 medium capsicums, sliced
- 2 medium carrots, chopped
- 1 medium cauliflower, sliced
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 1 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- CORNSTARCH SOLUTION:
- 1/4 c. water
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
Directions
- Combine the first 6 ingredients in a pan. Simmer for 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
- Stir fry vegetables in hot oil for 1 minute. Season with vinegar and soy sauce. Saute until vinegar and soy sauce absorbed into the vegetables.
- Add chicken and broth to the vegetables. Simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables are done.
- Thicken with cornstarch solution.
