1 lb fresh green beans
8 oz medium shells pasta (uncooked)
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds
salt/pepper to taste
bowl of very cold or ice water
Dressing:
1 tsp grated lemon zest
juice of one (1) medium lemon
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp dried tarragon leaves
2 tbs water
1/3 cup olive oil
