Ingredients

1 c. butter
3/4 c. cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 c. confectioners' sugar
1 c. flour
1 T butter
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 T half & half

Directions

Blend ingredients till well combined. Form into small balls and chill 1 hr. Place on cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Flatten each ball with thumb.Bake at 350Â°F for 15-17 min. Cookies should be just golden brown on bottom and not at all browned. Cool completely.
Mix ingredients, blend well, frost cooled cookies lightly.
