  • 1/2 c. quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 c. golden sugar - (packed)
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp. sliced almonds
  • 3 med pears - (abt 18 ounce) peeled, cored
  •     and thinly sliced
  • 3 lrg plums - (abt 10 ounce) halved, pitted,
  •     and thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 pch grnd nutmeg
  •     Nonfat frzn yogurt (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 3 ingredients in bowl. Add in oil; mix with fork till coarse crumbs form. Fold in almonds.
  2. Combine fruit in 10-inch-diameter glass pie dish. Sprinkle sugar, lemon juice and nutmeg over. Sprinkle with oats. Bake till fruit is tender and topping is golden, about 35 min. Cold 10 min. Serve with frzn yogurt.
  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
