Ingredients
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 3/4 c. green label molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream butter. Add in sugar. Blend well. Blend in Large eggs, molasses and vanilla.
- Sift all dry ingredients together. Add in alternately with lowfat milk to butter-sugar mix.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, about 2 1/2" apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 6 to 8 min or possibly till edges brown lightly. While hot, remove from pans to cold. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 9 to 10 dozen, 2" cookies.
