Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
Directions
- Combine and cream shortening and sugar. Beat in egg, lowfat milk and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients; add in to batter and mix well. Roll dough to 1/4 inch thick and cut cookies with round cutter. Put cookies on large cookie sheet and drop filling into center of each. Top with second cookie and seal edges lightly. Bake 10 min at 350 degrees.
