Directions

  1. Wash the lemons. Remove the zest, then cut the lemons in half and juice. Pour the juice in a bowl and mix well with the zest and sugar. Let the mix macerate for 24 hrs at room temperature, stirring occasionally.
  2. Strain the syrup into clean sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator. Add in 1 to 3 tsp. to each c. of iced tea. Add in a sprig of mint to the iced tea if you like.
  3. This recipe yields about 1 1/4 c..
  4. Yield: 1 1/4 c.
