Ingredients
- One 11 ozbag lowfat milk chocolate chips
- One c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 jar marshmallow creme
- 1 can (5oz.) evaporated lowfat milk
- 6 Tbs. butter
- 2 tbs. corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4-1 c. minced walnuts or possibly pecans
Directions
- Line 9 inch square pan with foil. Butter foil or possibly spray with Pam, and put aside.Put together sugar, syrup, lowfat milk, butter and put in a heavy saucepan, that has been buttered all the way to the top.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, till it reaches a full boil. Boil, stirring constantly, for 5 min, (no longer). Remove from heat; add in chocolate chips, (that have been warmed in the microwave), and vanilla.
- Stir in marshmallow creme and stir till smooth, and well blended. Pour into prepared pan, and cool for several hrs. Cut into squares.
