  • 1 lb Char siu, (Chinese roast pork)
  • 1/3 c. Maui onion, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 pkt Warm roll mix, (13-16 ounce.)

Directions

  1. Combine char siu, onions, oil, sugar and five spice. Set aside. Prepare warm roll mix according to package directions; let rise till doubled. When doubled turn dough out onto a lightly floured board and knead dough till smooth and elastic. Divide dough into 12 pcs. Divide meat mix into 12 parts. Grease hands and board. Flatten pcs of dough. Put about 1 portion of meat mix in center of each piece of dough. Form into buns by pulling dough up around the filling; healthy pinch to seal seams. Place on squares of waxed paper, smooth side up. Arrange on a steaming rack. Cover and let rise till doubled. Steam for 15 min. Serve hot. Yummy!!! Me ke aloha, Mary
