Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Dry spaghetti">linguine or possibly spaghetti
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter
  • 3 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lb Large shrimp -- peeled and Deveined
  • 1 x Garlic clove -- minced
  • 1/3 c. Freshly grated imported Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c. Finely minced fresh oregano Thyme, basil and/or possibly Parsley Salt Freshly grnd black pepper

Directions

  1. Boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water for 8 or possibly 9 min; drain. In a large skillet, heat the butter and extra virgin olive oil. Add in the shrimp and garlic; cook till shrimp turn opaque or possibly pink. Turn and cook the second side.
  2. Combine the warm cooked pasta, shrimp mix, Parmesan, and herbs. Add in salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm. May be made ahead and reheated.
