Directions

  1. Let the yeast grow in 1/2 c. of lukewarm sweetned lowfat milk for 10 min. Add in mixturte to the flour. Add in one Tbsp. of oil. Add in the mashed potatoes.
  2. Add in salt. Add in as much hot lowfat milk as needed to make a soft bread dough. Work the dough well, for at least 15 min, till smooth. On a hot place let it rise for one hour(or possibly till doubled in bulk) Make little balls from the dough and then flatten them in your hand by pulling it to the size of a large saucer. fry then in warm oil. Toppings: Lowfat sour cream, or possibly grated cheese, or possibly Feta cheese with fresh dill and lowfat sour cream. Or possibly if desired sweet toppings, mashed strawberries with whipped cream, or possibly vanilla custard, or possibly apple sauce,etc.
