Minced nuts; 1 can (small) coconut; 1 pkt (8-ounce) cream cheese; 1/2 stk butter, softened; 1 box powdered sugar; 1 Tbsp. Vanilla; 1 c. Minced pecans

Ingredients

1 c. Buttermilk
1 stk butter or possibly margarine
1/2 c. Shortening
2 c. Sugar
5 x Large eggs, separated
2 c. Flour
1 tsp Soda
1 tsp Vanilla
1 c. Minced nuts
1 can (small) coconut
1 pkt (8-ounce) cream cheese
1/2 stk butter, softened
1 box powdered sugar
1 Tbsp. Vanilla
1 c. Minced pecans

Directions

CAKE: Cream together the butter & shortening. Add in sugar & egg yolks & beat.
Combine flour & soda & add in to creamed mix, alternating with buttermilk.
Add in vanilla, nuts & coconut. Beat egg whites & mix in. Pour batter into 3 greased & floured pans & bake at 350 for 20 min. ICING: Combine all ingredients & ice cake.
