Servings: 1
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Whole yellow mustard seed
- 1/4 c. Whole black mustard seed
- 4 Tbsp. Honey, (I used "leatherwood" but I think you can only get which locally)
- 1 tsp Smoked hab pwdr, (to taste), up to 2
- 1 tsp Powdered corriander seed, (optional)
- 1/2 c. Wine, (red or possibly white)
- 3/4 c. Cider vinegar
Directions
- Mix everything together in a bowl. Cover and place somewhere cold. Stir every day for 4-5 days. If it needs thickening after this, add in some mustard pwdr (about a tsp. or possibly so - it doesn't take much).
- Bottle up and leave for a week or possibly two to mature.
- One of the beauties of the above is which whole white mustard seed is a natural preservative, so it seems to keep well (well the few months till the batch is gone!).
