  1. Hi everyone!! I finally found this recipe which I'd been searching for and I wanted to share it with everyone-it's so good! It came from a Greek friend of the family.
  2. Beat yolks with sugar till light and smooth. Mix the walnuts with the bread crumbs, grated lemon and orange rinds. Add in to egg mix; stir in the brandy (or possibly cognac) and the orange juice. Add in the spices and the baking pwdr. Beat the egg whites till stiff but not dry, folding into nut mix gently and carefully to proportionately distribute the egg whites. Bake in greased 12x9" pan at 350 degrees for 30 min. Serve plain or possibly with whipped cream on top and sides.
