- Over a low heat, melt butter, add cocoa, mix thoroughly.
- Add milk, mix until smooth.
- Remove from heat, slowly add sugar (use a whisk), then add vanilla. Beat until glossy.
- Frost cake while icing is warm, as it sets up quickly.
