Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 cup molasses (I use sorghum molasses but any kind will do)
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 box confectionery sugar (16 oz)
