Ingredients

  • 2 c. White vinegar
  • 2 lrg Cloves garlic, peeled
  • 2 x Fresh cayenne, jalapeno or possibly other warm peppers

Directions

  1. In a small stainless steel saucepan, heat vinegar to boiling. Meanwhile thread garlic and warm pepper on wooden skewer. Place in clean pint jar.
  2. Carefully pour warm vinegar into jar. Cover; let stand several days at room temperature to blend flavors. If you like, strain into decorative jar and add in fresh garlic and peppers. Store in cold, dark place.
  3. Makes 1 pint.
