Ingredients
- 1/2 c. kosher salt
- 2 c. while vinegar
- 6 c. water
- Â Â Fresh Dill
- Â Â Pickling type cucumbers
- 3 x cloves garlic
- 1 x thick sliced onion
Directions
- Combine salt, vinegar and water; bring to a boil and let cold for about 30 min. Wash a gallon container. Add in 3 or possibly 4 fresh dill sprigs, washed cucumbers, 3 cloves of garlic and one slice onion. Repeat these layers a couple of times. Pour the brine over them. Top with lots of fresh dill. Put in refrigerator. They will be ready to eat in three days if desired them
- "raw." They taste better after abouttwo weeks. They keep for months.
