A graham cracker or vanilla wafer crust with bananas, pineapple, pecans, and maraschino cherries topped with whipped cream.
Ingredients
- One can crushed pineapple
- 1 or 2 bananas
- 1 pie crust of graham crackers or vanilla wafers
- Pecan halves
- Maraschino cherries cut in half
- Cool Whip or whipped cream
Directions
- Line a vanilla wafer crust with sliced bananas
- Place pecan halves among the bananas to taste
- Slice about 1/2 - 3/4 cup maraschino cherries and place in the spaces among the pecans and bananas
- Open a can of crushed pineapple into a saucepan. Heat and thicken with corn starch until the consistency of pudding. Cool and pour into pie over the bananas.
- Place in refrigerator until set and top with whipped topping or whipped cream before serving.
