Ingredients

  • 2 x Onion -- chopped
  • 1/2 c. Sausage -- chorizo or possibly warm I
  • 2 Tbsp. Lard
  • 16 ounce Tomatoes -- liquid removed and Choppe
  • 3 c. Pinto beans -- cooked
  • 6 x Chilis, serrano -- chopped (
  • 6 x Bacon -- chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 x Ham -- diced (optional)

Directions

  1. Add in onions and lard to pinto beans and cook over medium heat 5 min, stirring occasionally. In another skillet, fry bacon, ham and sausage. Add in to beans with tomatoes, chilies and spices. Heat thoroughly.
