Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking pwdr and salt. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Stir in cheeses. Add in lowfat milk, stirring just till moistened. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface. Quickly knead dough by gently folding and pressing dough 10 to 12 strokes or possibly till nearly smooth. Pat or possibly lightly roll dough to 1.2 inch thickness.
  3. Cut dough with a floured 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place biscuits 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a 450 degree F oven for 10 to 12 min or possibly till bottoms are golden. Serve hot.
  4. Makes 10 to 12 biscuits.
