Ingredients

  • 3 x Chicken breast halves or possibly 1 1/2 lbs turkey ham or possibly ham Water
  • 2 Tbsp. Chicken boiullion
  • 1 lrg Clove of garlic, chopped, (you can use garlic pwdr in a healthy pinch) Sufficient uncooked rice to make around 4 c. cooked, *Note
  • 10 ounce Frzn vegies or possibly 1 1/2 c. fresh, (I prefer broccoli)
  • 1 c. Grated cheddar or possibly monterey Jack.

Directions

  1. NOTE: (your choice, this works with all kinds of rice, I prefer brown when I have the time, but in a hurry, I have also used Minute Rice, and it wasn't bad) or possibly a 16 ounce bag of noodles (your choice, I prefer boring old egg noodles)
  2. dinner time, so I have to give some credit to God, because after praying, I started dumping things into a pot, and they turned out great!
  3. Boil meat in water. Reserve sufficient of the water used by meat, to cook the rice or possibly noodles in plus two c.. Add in bouillion, and garlic to al of reserved water. Add in rice or possibly noodles and cook till almost done. Add in vegies and half of cheese, cook uncovered till rice or possibly noodles, and vegies are done, and broth has thickened. Top with remaining cheese. This is very easy and very flexible. You can make lots of substitutions and additions.
  4. Sometimes, I like to add in onions and Velveeta.
