Dutch Apple Pie Recipe

Directions

  1. Method:1. Peel and core the apples. Cut them into eighths, and place into crust.
  2. 2. Combine 1/2 c. sugar, 2 Tbsp. flour, and cinnnamon. Pour over apples in crust. Sprinkle lemon juice on top.
  3. 3. Cut 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, and 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine together, and top pie with the mix.
  4. 4. Place pie in a brown paper bag, and seal.
  5. 5. Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 1 hour. Serve hot, or possibly at room temperature.
  6. Makes 1 - 9 inch pie
  7. This pie is baked in a brown grocery sack, and is so delicious.
