Ingredients
- 3 1/4 c. flour
- 2 packages. dry yeast
- 2 T sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 T instant chopped onion
- 2 teaspoon dill seed
- 1 c. plain yogurt
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 T shortening
- 1 egg
Directions
- In large mixer bowl, put together 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, onion, and dill. In a pan, heat yogurt, water, and shortening till warm. Add in this and the egg to the flour mix. Blend till moistened, then beat on medium speed for 3 min. Gradually stir in rest of flour by hand to make a stiff batter. Spoon into a greased 2-quart casserole and let double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 min.
