Directions

  1. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a strong paper bag; set aside. Heat oil (1-1/2" deep) in a heavy skillet. Add in water to Bisquick so dough is thick and sticky You may need slightly less than 1/2 c. water). When oil is warm, drop by teaspoonfuls, and fry till rich golden and puffy. Drain on absorbent paper; shake in bag to coat with cinnamon-sugar.
  2. Makes about 12 puffs.
