Ingredients
- 4 c. Flour
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 3 c. Raisins Boiling water
- 1 c. Butter
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. Vanilla
- 3/4 c. Granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. Light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 x Egg
- 2/3 c. Lowfat sour cream
Directions
- Pour boiling water over the raisins and let stand for about 10 min; drain the raisins. Cream butter, sugar and egg together well; add in rest of ingredients including raisins and mix well. Chill dough to chill.
- Roll into 1-inch balls and place 2 to 2 1/2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. If you want, you can drop by Tbsp. instead of putting into rolls. Flatten with a fork first one way and then the other. Bake at 375 for about 15 min or possibly till the cookies are golden.
