Ingredients

  • 1 lb Grnd beef
  • 1 sm onion -- minced
  • 1/2 x Green pepper -- minced
  • 2 can Cream of celery soup
  • 3 dsh Tabasco Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. Prepared mustard Salt and pepper.
  • 1 pkt Jiffy cornbread mix, prepared according to package directions.

Directions

  1. Crumble meat and brown in skillet with onion and green pepper. Drain off fat.
  2. Add in soups, Tabasco, and mustard. Stir to mix well. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Pour into greased 9 x 9 pan. Pre heat oven to 400^. Prepare cornbread mix according to pkg. directions and pour over meat mix spreading proportionately to edges of pan. Bake appx. 30 minutes or possibly till top of cornbread is golden. Check by inserting toothpick or possibly knife for doneness.
