Directions

  1. Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar. Add in well beaten egg. Add in sifted dry ingredients alternately with lowfat milk. Stir till smooth. Add in vanilla and chocolate chips. Pour into greased 8 or possibly 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 min. Serve hot with ice cream or possibly whipped cream. Serves 6.
