Ingredients

  • 2 can Each 19 oz, chick peas
  • 1 x Sweet red pepper, julienne
  • 1 x Green pepper, julienne
  • 2 x Green onions, diagonally sliced
  • 1/2 c. Vegetable oil
  • 3 Tbsp. Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cl Garlic, chopped Dash of warm pepper sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Chili pwdr Generous pinches of salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Drain and rinse chick-peas. Combine with red and green peppers and green onions in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together all dressing ingredients. Toss salad with dressing; chill till ready to serve.
  2. Flavor improves if left to marinate overnight.
  3. Serves 6-8
