Ingredients

  • 1 c. (2 sticks) butter
  • 4 sq. unsweetened chocolate (you can substitute 12 tbsp. cocoa plus 4 tbsp. Crisco, melted)
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 c. flour

Directions

  1. Brownies: Heat butter and chocolate. Remove from heat. Beat in sugar. Add in Large eggs 1 at a time, beating after each egg. Add in vanilla and flour. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min in a 13 x 9 inch pan. Cold.
  2. Frosting: Heat butter, sugar, and vanilla, and boil for 1 to 1 1/2 min. Fold in 12 ounce. bag chocolate chips and 1/4 c. peanut butter. This will be thin and runny (do not worry). When you pour on cooled brownies, it will harden while cooling. Enjoy!
