I THINK THAT A GOOD SAUCE MEANS IT WILL CUT GREASE, NOT TO SWEET, AND WILL MAKE BREAD DISSOLVE IN YOUR MOUTH. THIS RECIPE WE CAME UP WITH MANY YEARS AGO YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT YOU WILL LOVE IT AND IT STAYS GOOD A LONG TIME IN THE REFRIG.

  • 1. 1 CAN OF 8 OZ. TOMATO SAUCE
  • 2. 2 TBSP. CHILE POWDER
  • 3. 1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
  • 4. 2 TBSP. BROWN SUGAR
  • 5. 2 TSP LIQUID SMOKE
  • 6. 2 TSP VINEGAR I ALWAYS USE PICKLING VINEGAR WHEN MAKING SAUCES
  • 7. 1/2 CUP KETCHUP
  • 8. 1 TBSP ONION DICED
  • 9. 1/2 GROUND TURMERIC FOR A LIGHTER COLOR
  • 10.1 TBSP MUSTARD

Directions

  1. I A POT HEAT 1. THROUGH 9. IN A SLOW BOIL, COOK FOR 2 MIN.THEN TASTE AND COOL.COOK WITH WITH LID.
