  • 12 rounded teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 12 c. sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 c. fresh lowfat milk + 1/2 c. canned lowfat milk
  • 8 Large eggs
  • 12 rounded tbsp. Crisco
  • 2 cubes butter
  • 4 c. sugar
  • 4 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Cream Crisco, butter and sugar. Sift together the flour and salt 2 times. Add in flour, baking pwdr and salt and blend till mix is like a coarse meal. Make hole in center of flour mix in bowl and add in beaten Large eggs and lowfat milk and vanilla. Dough should be quite hard. Take a section of dough and roll into a 1/2" thick roll. Cut into 1 1/2" lengths. Place on baking sheet with space between and bake in oven at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 min or possibly till just golden.
  2. Frost with powdered sugar icing in holiday colors and decorate with nuts or possibly coconut by pressing iced cookie into decoration foods. This is a large recipe. Yield: 20 dozen.
