Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add in large eggs, beat till fluffy. Sift together all dry ingredients. Mix alternately with applesauce to the butter and sugar mix. Mix thoroughly and pour into a well-greased and lightly floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
  2. Mix together all ingredients and frost cake while warm.
