Apple Peach Chutney Recipe

Ingredients

  • 7 x Golden brown delicious apples (about 3 lb), peeled, cored and minced, about 10 C.
  • 2 can Sliced peaches (15-16 ounce ea.) liquid removed, sliced, in extra light syrup, cut in thirds
  • 2 jar whole onions (15 ounce ea.), liquid removed
  • 1 1/2 c. Brown sugar, packed
  • 1 c. Cider vinegar
  • 1 c. Raisins
  • 1 tsp Grnd cumin
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1.Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large pot. Boil gently, uncovered, about 1 hour stirring occasionally, till thickened.
  2. 2. Cold slightly (mix will continue to thicken as it cools). Pour into jars, cook, cover and chill.
  3. Makes 7 c.. Age for 3 days. Chill up to 2 months.
