About me
I have Celiac disease, several food allergies and type 2 diabetes.
I have two blogs http://www.glutenfreewithauntjayne.com and
http://www.allerjayne.com
Come visit and check out the other recipes I have available.
You can hear me tell my story: http://ning.it/b6fx6s
I have also started a social site for people with dietary restrictions of all kinds to find information, support, events etc. (Kind of like facebook on a smaller scale)
http://www.donteatthatsite.com.
Cooking Influences
My older sister was the biggest influence on me as far as cooking and baking are concerned. She taught me so many handy tricks. It was my dear old dad, though that taught me how to make the world's best shortbread cookies and hot chocolate (the real kind)
We used to have family get-togethers and they were always pot-luck. We learned, at an early age to appreciate all kinds of foods.

I just started following you and am looking forward to reading through all your gluten free recipes. They look awesome! Hope you will check out all my gluten free recipes and follow me back. - December 4, 2010Jayne: I'm flattered that a chef with 291 recipes logged onto CES would follow me. Thanks. I know several people on a Gluten free diet. In my post about the Garlic Festival and again in my recent pork tenderloin recipe, I use spices/seasonings from Kitchen Kick'n that are gluten free and delicious...take a peek. They're worth ordering. N

I may not be celiac...however, I do have a very noticable intolerance to gluten.
Lately, I just had a chance to share an upside down fig cake made solely with Sweet Sorghum flour. I would love to have your opinion on it.
I will be giving a very careful look at your recipes so that I can gain better knowledge.
Thank you for asking me to follow you ;o)
Flavourful wishes,
Claudia- July 28, 2010Nice to meet you as well. I love figs - I'll bet that cake was fabulous.
