  •     As many spare rib pork chops as you are feeding
  •     (you need some meat on these, but do not use best
  •     pork loin chops as the cheaper cut gives a much better flavour)
  • 3 x - 4 carrots cut into chunks **
  • 1 x -2 onions sliced **
  • 5 x - 6 potatoes peeled and cut into roast potato size
  •     pcs **
  •     water or possibly stock
  •     salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Put everything into a roasting dish, add in sufficient water to just cover the meat, cover with foil and put into a low oven (150 deg C ) for an hour or possibly so until potatoes are cooked, then remove foil, turn the oven up and brown potatoes. no need to thicken gravy. serve with bread wedges to sop up the juices.
  2. ** add in any root vegetables you like
