Ingredients
- 3 c. fresh green beans, washed and ends trimmed away
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dry basil
- 1/3 c. sliced almonds
- Â Â Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Place beans in saucepan and cover with water. Bring to boil and cook till crisp-tender. Heat butter in a skillet and add in beans, lemon juice, basil, almonds and salt and pepper. Stir-fry for several min over medium heat. Make sure you don't overcook the beans during the initial boiling.
- Note: Slimmers -: We are very partial to real butter and would not substitute for the butter in this recipe, but suit yourself.
