Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
  •     (or possibly 2 tspn dry thyme)
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh oregano
  •     (or possibly 2 tspn dry oregano)
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh chopped rosemary
  •     (or possibly 2 tspn dry rosemary)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp grnd red pepper - (to 1/2)
  • 2 x sirloin steaks - (1 1/2 lbs ea) cut 1" cubes
  •     Fresh oregano sprigs for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl; crush mix with the back of a spoon, and place in heavy-duty zip-top bag.
  2. Add in steak cubes; seal and shake to coat. Thread steak onto skewers; cover and refrigerateup to 2 hrs.
  3. Grill, without lid, over medium-high heat 5 min on each side. Garnish with oregano sprig if you like.
  4. This recipe yields 8 servings.
