  1. Peel and dice potatoes, combine with diced ham in bowl. In a saucepan heat butter and blend in flour. Gradually add in lowfat milk and heat to boiling, stirring continually. Remove from heat. Add in salt, pepper, garlic salt and Liquid Smoke. Mix with potatoes and ham.
  2. Turn into a buttered 1 1/2 qt casserole. Top with grated Cheddar cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hrs or possibly till potatoes are tender. Makes 6 servings.
