Directions

  1. Cut bacon into small strips, fry till crisp. Add in vegetables, saute/fry till tender. Add in rice and stir. Add in warm water, soy sauce, shrimp and seasonings. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute, stir once, cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer 20 min. Remove from heat and let stand till all liquid is absorbed (approximately 5 min). For softer rice use more water and simmer longer. For firmer rice, useless water and simmer for a shorter time.
