This delicious dessert (also known as Muddy Buddies) is extremely easy to make and is great for kids.

Directions

  1. Melt the butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter together in a pan until smooth.
  2. Pour the cereal into the mixture toss to coat.
  3. Put the cereal into a Ziploc bag, pour in the powdered sugar and seal tightly.
  4. Shake until the cereal is coated.

              Golden Grahams would add a different taste. I've always use Crispix instead of chex. Though I am sure that there are many variations of this treat.

                            I have made Puppy Chow for a number of years and I usually don't use butter when melting the chocolate chips and peanut butter but may try that the next time. I use Golden Graham's instead of Chex Cereal and I think it has a much better taste like S'mores.

                              oh for God sakes you can eat anything Nancy in moderations and send them outside to bike ride fly a kite swing not a big deal.... only for kids who are unactive or couch potatoes Nancy ONiell I will eat and enjoy life and be a kid for God sakes.

                                  You can find ingredients for a lot less calories.

                                    I think these calories are for the entire receipe, not just one serving; so it would be 847 divided by 6 for the servings, so 141 is really not too bad!
