Ingredients

  • 1 can 20 ounce pineapple chunks
  •     Liquid removed, cut in half
  •     (reserve juice for dressing)
  • 1 can 16- ounce mandarin orange
  •     Segments, well liquid removed
  • 2 x Bananas, quartered and
  •     Sliced
  • 1 pkt 3 -ounce. orange gelatin
  • 1 pkt 3 -ounce. lemon gelatin
  • 1 c. Boiling water
  • 1 pt Orange sherbet, softened

Directions

  1. Combine pineapple, mandarin oranges and bananas; set aside. In a medium saucepan, dissolve gelatins in booiling water over low heat till well dissolved. Remove from heat and stir in sherbet till thoroughly blended; mix in prepared fruit. Rinse a 6cup mold with cool water, pour in gelatin mix and refrigeratetill hard. Unmold onto cool plate. Garnish with orange slices. Serve with fruit dressing. Source Salads for all seasons by Miriam
