  • 1 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. confectioners' sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. walnuts, finely minced
  • Confectioners' sugar

Directions

  1. Cream the butter with the sugar till light. Add in the remaining ingredients and refrigeratefor at least 2 hrs in a bowl covered with plastic wrap.
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Form dough into 1" balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 min, till lightly browned.
  4. While still hot, sift confectioners' sugar over cookies and store air tight. Yield: 4 dozen.
