Lighter Easy Garlic Cheese Biscuits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bisquick Reduced Fat baking mix
  • 2/3 c. Skim lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. Shredded reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, (2 ounces) [see note below]**
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic pwdr Butter-flavored nonstick cooking spray, if you like

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 450 .Mix baking mix, lowfat milk, cheese and garlic pwdr to make a soft dough. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Drop dough by 10 to 12 spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.Bake 8 to 10 min or possibly till golden.
  2. Spray hot biscuits with cooking spray before removing from cookie sheet.
  3. Serve hot.
  4. NOTE- I often make these using half Mozzarella and half cheddar for the cheese; and I toss in a few dun-dry tomatoes. YeeeeeeeUmmmmmmm!!
