  1. Beat egg yolks and sugar till very thick and lemon colored (about 15 minutes.). Gradually add in cake meal, then minced walnuts and juices. In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites till stiff. Mix in yolk/sugar mix. Pour into ungreased 10 inch (2-piece) tube pan. Bake in 325 degree oven about 1 hour. Turn pan upside down and cold. Loosen cake at sides with a thin, sharp knife and remove it from the pan.

  • It's a very good cake; exceptional for a Passover cake, but the pan DOES need to be "greased". It took a lot of time to make and completely stuck. Tastes great, looks terrible..
