Directions

  1. Cream butter and sugar and add in one egg at a time beating well after each one. Sift dry ingredients together and put together the two mixtures, flour, raisins and nuts, add in to above mix. Pour into layer pans. Bake in 300 degree oven about 1 hour or possibly till cake leaves sides of pan.
  2. Put together all ingredients and cook till thick. Cool slightly and put between layers of fruit cake.
