  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon plus 2 tablespoons sugar, divided
  • 1/4 cup warm water (110 to 115 degrees)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter, melted, divided
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 3 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • One year ago: Brown Sugar Pound Cake
